Cumberland Bike Share
Making car-free options available, and welcoming to Cumberland
Over the past decade, bike share has become increasingly popular in cities across the United States. Bike share provides many benefits for a community as a means of transportation and recreation.
In 2015, the Town Center CID launched the first bike share program in Cobb County. After years of success in the Town Center community, the Cumberland CID, in 2018, launched a bike share pilot program for Cumberland with two stations. The Cumberland Bike Share has since evolved into eight stations and continues to be a popular community amenity.
