Kim Menefee serves as the executive director for the Cumberland CID. Having joined the state’s first CID in May 2019, Kim leads efforts to partner with commercial investors, government officials, and stakeholders to advance key transportation and infrastructure projects and enhance the Cumberland community.

Prior to joining the CID, Kim served in senior leadership roles for 25 years at WellStar Health System, Georgia’s largest health system. Kim led the team that created the WellStar brand, managed marketing and public relations, community engagement, government relations, and the WellStar Foundation.

Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Georgia. Kim and her husband, Chris, reside in East Cobb and have four grown children.
