Tarik Milner
Tarik Milner is the Planning and Projects Manager of the Cumberland Community Improvement District. He manages the operations for the CID’s beautification initiatives, landscape enhancements, and asset management and installations.
Prior to arriving at the CID, Tarik served in a leadership role at H.E.H. Paving Inc., an Atlanta-based asphalt paving company that has served the Metro Atlanta area for over 30 years. During his 6 years at H.E.H., Tarik led his team to complete numerous road resurfacing projects for GDOT as well as local government clients such as the City of Atlanta, Dekalb County, Clayton County, and the City of Decatur. These projects totaled nearly $10 million in revenue and resulted in hundreds of miles of improved roads for various communities.
Tarik earned his bachelor’s degree in applied manufacturing management from Jacksonville State University while playing football on a full athletic scholarship. He then continued his athletic career while earning his master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Central Florida. Tarik was born and raised in Cobb County and is a current resident of Smyrna.
